For Shanie

Shanie you are so much in our heads, we find that we spend our time, remembering all these things you said, things you did and how you lived.

The thing that came to us straight away was the way you made sure all your friends were ok.  A text message here, a phone call there, you made sure we knew you cared.

You were the most generous person in giving out hugs, refreshing and thoughtful your friends treasured that love.

And for the family and friends you mourned, you will be reunited again.  Our loss is definitely their gain.

We know there is no way that Shanie will be far from the family she doted on, the amount of time she spent talking about them revealed this strong bond.

There was so much to Shanie that we could share, from her love of bad boy rappers to the colours and styles of her hair.  Her appreciation of a sexy Australian doc to the tequila slammers she could down in shot.

Her life long love of Disney and her cheeky tattoos together with her devilish sense of humour made a big impression on you.

Our network is broken, our main player is down…she always helped the fun and gossip get around.  

Without her we will struggle on and try and fill our void but I sense that when we need her most, she won’t be very far from our sides.
