Welcome to Friends for life.
This web site focuses upon the lives of those
who suffer from both Cystic Fibrosis and the issues associated with
transplantation.
Friends for life was set up in 2001 by four founding friends
Sam Hillyard, Bev Gifford, Yvonne McNamara and Sammi Sparke.
With our website we aim to do two important things. Firstly to dispel
some of the myths and out dated associations linked with CF and secondly
to raise awareness of organ donation and transplantation.
Friends for life has grown into a huge community over the years. Here on our site we wish to give you the facts and figures concerning Cystic Fibrosis and transplantation as well sharing our own, personal stories.
