How Can I Help?
CAN I HELP?

We want to join forces with our friends throughout the UK (and beyond) to draw attention to Cystic Fibrosis and transplantation.

Our Personal Aims . . .

Transplants for our friends who are in desperate need

To dispel the common misconceptions about people with Cystic Fibrosis

To increase the amount of people willing to be organ donors

To get people freely and openly talking about all of these issues

Ways to help

If you have CF you can join our Friends for Life support group. Write and tell us your own story, including a picture and we will try and post it on the site. Your story may give hope or comfort to someone reading.

Raising the profile of donor cards or transplants, using the media or word of mouth is very important to us. One fantastic way to raise the profile of the donor register is by wearing one of the ‘Live life, then give life’ t-shirts which are available from:

Find out about fundraising for your local CF or transplant unit and if you have any suggestions or fresh fundraising ideas then please contact us.

You can donate to the transplant and CF unit at Papworth hospital as well as to the CF trust. Click here for more information.

Contact us, if you would just like to leave feedback about the site or if something in particular that has caught your eye. We would love to hear from you.

We would like to note that we appreciate that transplantation/organ donation is not acceptable to, or an option for everyone, for whatever reason.  However, please enjoy reading about the different and varied experiences of the people on our website.  Visit the ‘My story, my life’ page.
